Had a drive up to the top of Cairn O'Mount to see what snow was left today - 13 March 2010. There was still plenty about as you can see from the photo and evidence that the snowplough drivers had been hitting the verge a few times and ripping up huge chunks of turf.
The road was closed because a road bridge further on had been weaked by the winter snow and rain and was under repair.
There was a lot of water running over the road as the snow continued to melt.
